At least four individuals are required for this immersive experience, where travelers will have the opportunity to explore the hidden beauty of Nicoya. Local residents and entrepreneurs will unveil the secrets of this unique place, leaving lasting memories of the journey.

The tour commences early at 1:45 am with a transfer to our first adventure: the Cerro Caballito's Hike. This moderately challenging hike takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, leading to the summit of the hill. Here, you can witness breathtaking 180° and 360° degree sunrise views. The next leg of the journey takes place in the community of Puerto Humo, where you'll embark on a boat tour along the Tempisque River. After a quick meal featuring fresh fruits and drinks or coffee, you'll navigate the river adjacent to Palo Verde National Park, a prime location to observe the area's rich biodiversity, including birds, monkeys, crocodiles, and more.

Participating in this experience means engaging with local culture. During lunchtime, you'll have the opportunity to connect with the Mujeres del Maíz, a women's association, as they prepare delicious and healthy meals centered around corn and seasonal, locally sourced drinks from the Blue Zone. To conclude the day, you'll have the unique chance to participate in a Chorotega Pottery workshop in San Vicente, where you can witness how our culture is intricately woven into the art and designs of pottery masters.
